Hens’ eggs provide the scale and form around which a variety of soft and rigid materials, all grown, gathered and hand-processed on Alice’s allotment, are used to construct a series of 50 vessels: variations on a theme with emphasis on experimenting with material within the boundaries of scale.

Part of the Textile Study Group’s anniversary exhibition in 2023-4, celebrating 50 years of the group. Each work in the exhibition included an element of 50, either obviously or obscurely.
